Want to become involved in your community?
Consider volunteering for a committee:
-
Welcome / Social Committee
The mission of this commitee is two-fold: 1) plan social functions and gatherings to promote neighborly interaction and inclusivity and 2) to provide a standard welcome to homeowners of resold homes in Skagit Highlands.
The annual community-wide garage sale, Winter Holiday Decorations competition & social mixer, and food drive for local food bank are just some of the great activities this committee has coordinated. social@skagithighlandshoa.org
The mission of this committee is to help the Association maintain the Skagit Highlands trails in a safe condition, and provide owners with opportunities for unput about trails via recommendations and monitoring. trails@skagithighlandshoa.org Cricket Barton & Rachel Porter, Co-Chairs
-
Advisory Landscaping Committee
The mission of this committee is to make recommendations to the Board to identify and control landscaping maintenance expenses and help increase homeowner awareness of the common area amenities of the Association. landscape@skagithighlandshoa.org
Although not under the umbrella of the HOA, the City of Mount Vernon's Block Watch Program is supported and your participation in your street's Block Watch is encouraged. Don't have a Block Watch in your neighborhood? Call Megan Keck, Community Service Officer for the City of Mount Vernon at (360)336-6271 Ext. 1492 for more information.
