RE: Skagit Highlands – Official Communication Channels
Dear Community Member;
It has come to our attention that the unofficial Skagit Highlands Facebook page is being used by a Board
member to air grievances in such a way that it appears that the Board is sanctioning the posts. The
Board does not sanction these Facebook posts. Further the Board will not post official communications
on Facebook.
Please remember that Facebook is not an official communication channel. Official communications from
the Board are sent either via U.S. Mail directly to your residence and/or via a community-wide email
blast. You can also look for information on the official website of Skagit Highlands at
www.skagithighlandshoa.org.
It is unfortunate that this Board member’s behavior, and her continued actions, done without the
knowledge of the Board or its permission, has caused a need for this letter, but given the community
response to these posts, the Board determined it to be necessary.
As always, the Board continues to work in good faith for the benefit of the entire community and
actively engages with legal counsel to address any grievances or legal concerns to ensure that it is acting
appropriately.
